We Do The Stairs
Everything comes up the stairs and out the door. You don't lift a thing.
Tell us what's going and we'll get back to you with pricing — usually within the hour.
No commitment. No card required.
A basement cleanout is really a stairs problem. The reason the old sofa, the broken treadmill and forty boxes are still down there is that getting them up is a two-person job nobody wants.
That's exactly the part we do. Baltimore County's free bulk pickup only takes what you've already dragged to the curb — which for a basement is the whole difficulty.
The county collects bulk items twice a year, three items per collection, on a date it assigns you — and you have to carry everything to the curb yourself. It won't take pianos, pool tables, furnaces, tires, glass, anything over eight feet, or anything holding liquid, and the program only covers single-family homes and townhomes.
If you have more than three items, can't wait for your date, need it carried out of the house, or it's on the excluded list — that's us. See the full exclusion list.
| Job | What it covers | Starting at |
|---|---|---|
| Partial basement | One area or a large item haul | $125 |
| Full basement | Standard clearing | $225 per load |
| Packed or finished basement | Multi-room, furniture-heavy | $225 per load |
Prices are starting points and depend on volume, weight and access. You get a firm number before we start.
Yes. Water-damaged furniture, carpet and boxes are a common job for us. Move quickly — the longer soaked material sits, the worse the mould risk.
No. Carrying it out is the service.
Water heaters yes. Furnaces we can usually take — note the county's bulk program specifically excludes them.
